About us

• Company began in 1991 with David Eason and Brian Pratt in Charlotte NC
• Six months later Brian Pratt left E & P and Charlotte and moved back to Myrtle Beach, SC
• 1992, E & P picked up it’s first big client, M/I Homes and trimmed 90 homes for them the first year
• June 1993, E & P Trimwork incorporated
• Growth was becoming substantial, as superintendents changed jobs with builders, E & P would move with them to their new company
• 1994, E & P started working for Ryland Homes (currently our largest client)
• 1999, E & P’s volume broke 2000 homes for that year
• 2000, E & P broke ground on a 16,000 sq ft facility to house the office and manufacturing
• 2000, E & P started doing business turnkey, supplying material and labor for builders
• January 2001, manufacturing moved into the new facility
• April 2001, the office staff moved into the new facility
• 2001, E & P’ s volume grew to over 2500 homes for that year
• 2002, E & P ventured into Kitchen Cabinets using Woodharbor and expanded our hardware lines with six new hardware manufacturers
• Currently we conduct business in the Charlotte Metro Area, the Piedmont Triad Area, with aspirations of venturing into Charleston, SC and the Greenville/Spartanburg Area
• Currently we employ 95 people
